Wendy has been involved with the Cheshire Community Foundation for around three years. Having given so much input to the setup of the project 'Young Minds Matter', she was appointed a fund panelist, judging and interviewing applicants and making recommendations to the Trustees.
I've spent time visiting potential and existing beneficiaries seeing the work they undertake and learning how the grants are being used. Perhaps this is one of the most rewarding experiences in my community involvement. Assured in the knowledge that the grants have been used to setup projects to enable early intervention and support for children and adolescents with mental health problems.
